Energy Efficiency -The Clean Facts
What Is Energy Efficiency?
Your Task: Start a successful business
Step 1 - Decide what your business will be (cake shop? nail salon? candy shop?) and create the business on google slides - add in all your furniture and the things you will be selling. Make one slide for the outside of your store and use as many slides as you need for the inside.
Step 2 - Calculate your expenses. You have a start up budget of $5,000. This money must cover all the furniture in your store (all your bookshelves, cash register, anything you put in your store). To find the prices of items, look up "bookshelves from target" or "bookshelves from Ikea" - find the furniture with the best price! Make sure you write down how much you are spending on each thing. Remember, rent for your shop is $1,500 a month, so make sure to budget for that.
Step 3 - Expenses Slide. Add a last google slide that lists the price of everything (including rent) and total it all up !
Step 4 - Create a plan. How will you get people to come to your business? Will you pay for commercials on TV (look up the price). How much will you charge for everything? Will you have any discounts? Will you be able to hire any employees?
